The Law of Dominant Frequencies

The law of dominant frequencies is an important one to understand. Not just for healing but for all aspects of life that you wish to change or maintain. I have posted a short video on this law on my YouTube channel for those that prefer to listen: https://youtu.be/ETGm0rvC1GQ

Simply put, whatever is the dominant frequency in any given space, will start to change the other frequencies around it such that they become closer in vibration to that dominant frequency.

Most people will recall situations in which they felt this effect

Imagine a room full of people who are saddened by the recent death of someone. A room full of sadness, grief, regret, guilt and anger maybe because of those people’s relationship with the deceased person.

If you, going about your everyday life and unknowing of this death, open the door to this room and walk in, how do you think you would feel exposed to such energies? Even if you were originally feeling very happy, most of you will start to feel uneasy with all those lower vibrational thoughts, emotions and things being said by the other people in that room. You will start to feel and resonate with those energies the others are putting out and feel down yourself.

Why? Because those lower vibrational things are the dominant frequency in the room. There is only one of you and many of them, making their vibration more abundant and powerful than the vibration you were experiencing before going in the room.

There is also the beliefs held within yourself and society at large that has an impact here, such as the expectation that one should not bounce around in a happy state when others are mourning, further affecting how you might behave in front of them. However this does vary with different groups of people.

This works in a positive way too. For example if you have ever been to a deeply spiritual place where many generations have meditated in a peaceful manner there? You might feel a more expansive, peaceful or loving feeling dominating you as you walk in, due to the frequency of energies held by the building.

Can you not allow energies around you affect you?

The examples above are based on how most people might react, but is it possible to be in a state where those frequencies around you don’t affect you? Of course!

A lot of what I teach people and have done for over a decade now, focuses on you dictating your own vibration no matter what is going on around you.

This takes a lot of practice, questioning and challenging your own beliefs, awareness of yourself and awareness of how you allow, resist or fight that outside of yourself. There is a lot to talk about here beyond this article so please do go and look at my other articles and YouTube videos for more.

Essentially though, it is all about choosing to vibrate the way you wish in any given moment. Thinking, emoting, acting and spiritually expressing yourself the way you wish, rather than allowing the people and energies around you dictate you.

In the example above, it is very possible to enter that room full of mourners and maintain the previous state you had before entering the room, whether it be happiness, gratitude, love or any other mental/emotional/spiritual state.

The law of dominant frequencies is what is in play when following my previous article’s advice. When you “walk down the valley of death” if your light is the dominant frequency, then the demons themselves weaken and not you!

It takes a lot of practice

Remember that being able to maintain your vibration no matter what is going on around you can be tough to do. Even in my situation after years of practice, I still feel the effects of those around me and want to go home and recharge after some time in more challenging situations.

This is coming from someone who has practiced energetic techniques for a long time now. I’m certainly a long way off being perfect and I suspect that if I was able to reach a perfect ability in controlling my vibration I wouldn’t need to, nor continue to exist in this Earthly reality!

So, don’t be hard on yourself if it feels like quite a challenge.

Know that you’re going to face many challenges whilst here in a human body and that you will feel uncomfortable at many points in your life. At the same time know that it is worth strengthening yourself by learning to control your vibration so that you don’t get pushed about like a victim all your life.

If you can gain even the smallest ability in learning to dictate your vibration, you’ll feel more confident and be able to get more of what you wish to experience from life. Even better, you’ll influence others to become stronger too.

Being aware of others around you in challenging situations

In Earthly societies at least, you’ll need to be aware of how other’s might perceive you whilst you try to be the vibration and thus person you wish to be.

Whilst it is great to maintain a happy vibration among the mourners, smiling wildly, dancing and cracking jokes, depending on the personalities of those people of course, will likely create even more negativity in the room!

We generally as aware people, are in the minority. Even though we know that society can be so much more, there’s a balancing act we often have to play out. We often have to ask ourselves “How can I have a positive impact here without pushing things too far so as to upset and cause more problems for people?”

So while you are learning about your own vibration, focus on practicing creating and maintaining your own vibration internally, with your thoughts, emotions and spiritual energies. And at the same time be aware of how you act and speak based on how it might affect those around you.

In the mourning room example you could maintain the happiness inside of you as you wish but be gentle with how it is expressed. Such as with compassionate smiles, warming touches and soft encouraging words.

Being the dominant frequency

I’m sure many people have witnessed in their lives how someone was able to burst into a room and brighten up everyone’s mood in the space of seconds or minutes. This is what it is like someone truly has a big impact because their energies are so dominant.

If you ever read about the lives of “saints” and other spiritual figures in history, you will see how they equally had such an impact on those around them.

For example many people have reported sudden healings from such figures, just by them being around them and not specifically seeing them for a healing. This is due to their aura being so strong and flowing with energy that it was dominant enough to cause the recipient’s aura to raise in vibration enough for a powerful healing effect.

A healer has to maintain a dominant frequency when healing others.

The dominant frequency and healing

Obviously when you are performing healing on another or on yourself, you will have to make the new vibration of energy the more dominant one so as to clear/transmute/shift the old vibration.

The longer you generate or hold that higher vibration you wish to obtain, the greater the effect. Of course the stronger and more dominant you can make that vibration will also greatly impact the healing. The final factor is simply how different the vibration is.

It may seem strange to some people but the bigger the difference in vibration between the healing energy and that being healed, the quicker the transformation should be. So long of course that that higher vibration is more dominant.

This is why people who often try to force or fight to change to a better state, take longer to do so and with more strife than those that are more playful and relaxed about the process! – i.e. the forcing of something lowers the vibration of the healing effect meaning that there isn’t so much of a vibrational difference between the healing energy and the thing to be healed, hence less of a powerful healing effect.

The subject of how the person being healed can resist healing energies in many ways, including to their belief systems, comes into play of course but that is something for another day.

A healer has to often maintain a different vibration to the one being healed

This can be difficult to do when people start out as a healer. Especially when the client is distraught and hangs onto their story and corresponding thoughts, emotions and beliefs making them resistant to change.

Most people unknowingly do this, but in order to feel a connection between each other, we often change our vibration to match more closely with another person. This often makes the other person feel more comfortable around us and gives them the feeling of being heard and accepted.

The problem often comes when someone is in an uncomfortable mental, emotional or physical state. People tend to lower their vibration to match that person in order to comfort them. The problem with this is that the consoling one will feel worse in the process, even becoming ill too if they don’t do anything to recover themselves.

You will often hear from newly awakened people, new-age people or novice healers that they “caught something” or “something jumped on them” from the client. While from a certain point-of-view they are right, really from a more expanded point-of-view, they were not maintaining part or all of their energy field very well.

This means that the lower vibration of the one they were healing or even just interacting with was more dominant and so their vibration lowered to be more of a match to that person. This is really what I see is going on when people “catch the flu” for example.

So it can be a bit difficult being a healer. You have to obviously meet the person energetically to connect with the illness or whatever else needs to be healed and in order for them to feel comfortable enough to allow the healing to proceed. At the same time, a healer needs to generate/hold a vibration very different to that held by the client, at least in the area that needs healing, which can feel very uncomfortable or scary to the one being healed.

This can be especially the case when the client does not think the same way as the healer even to the point of disagreeing with the healer. It can sometimes mean that a healing isn’t received very well or even not happen at all.

That is why I liked very much the Barbara Brennan healing course. They spent a lot of time going through characterologies in psychology and energy to help you understand and meet clients better. Also how to approach each one in a beneficial way and how you can gradually change your vibration over the course of a healing so as not to be too much of a shock to the client, as one of many examples.

Hopefully the information in this article and others I have written will help you better understand and thus receive from healers too.

The dominant frequency changes too

If the dominant frequency is not maintained, then other frequencies will start to change the dominant frequency over time. This is why even the strongest of personalities can fall over time if they do not make efforts to maintain themselves.

So when a healing is happening, I have to try as best I can to maintain my focus and bring myself back to the healing vibration I was creating so that it stays a high vibration and stays dominant.

Likewise in everyday life, you will find that if your environment is not to your liking, you will constantly have to make effort to maintain the vibration you wish for yourself for that to be dominant. Do not mistake this to mean forcing things all the time. Like I said earlier, the gentler the better, especially in the longer term.

Meditation in a comfortable space is often a good starting place to gain the awareness of your own energies before starting practicing generating and maintaining the vibrations you wish.

Creating & maintaining a dominant frequency for yourself

This reality from a lot of people’s perspectives, is tough, demanding, dangerous, unsupportive, busy etc. While a lot of people think this way consciously or not, you will find that to be the dominant frequency around you in the modern world. Of course it will vary a lot depending on your circumstances and some of you reading this may have wonderful surrounding energies.

It can sound a little worrying reading that for most of you, can’t it? Always remember however, that you are part of source/god/oneness/all-that-is and as such you have some of those creative abilities and choice.

So no matter how dominating and uncomfortable those energies around you seem, know that you can let go of the resistance to them and create what you wish in your own energy field regardless. Like I’ve said in multiple articles – happiness is a choice.

It can take practice but you can absolutely do it, no matter your circumstances. While everything around can seem so domineering, know that you can be the dominant vibration for yourself. And don’t be too surprised if you maintaining that vibration, starts to change slowly the people, things and situations around you too 😉

There are a lot of techniques to help you experiment with and help you in generating the vibration you wish to be. One of my favourite exercises is the Goenka style of vipassana meditation, which is a good starting point for many.

Always remember that all the energies you don’t like within you, all the physical, mental, emotional & spiritual discomforts and dislikes are all a result of you resisting being the person you truly, on a deeper level, wish to be. The best version of yourself you could say.

So one of the best ways of creating and maintaining a dominant frequency for yourself is simply this – every day in as many ways you can and no matter what is going on in your life, choose to be the person you wish to be. And yes, I do recommend baby-steps to begin with 😉

Is becoming a warrior in the astral a good thing?

For those that read my previous blog article about the only thing that worked against my friend’s astral attacks each night, this article might seem to contradict that. I am writing afterall about becoming a warrior in the astral, or if you like the non-physical realms. However both methods actually have a lot in common as you’ll see in the following paragraphs.

Contradictions between one method/view-point and another are often why I am hesistant to write generalised articles. What is great advice for one person may not be the best for another.

Like my website introduction page says, take what is useful for you in your current state and disregard the rest.

The warrior like the observer, must face his fears with courage.

Don’t bury your head in the sand!

No matter how confused you might be about what to do with any spiritual problem you may be facing, it is not a good idea to hide away from it and especially pretend that the problem doesn’t exist.

If you hold a belief on a conscious or sub/un-conscious level (i.e. whether you are aware fully or not of the beliefs you hold within you) that you can be harmed by other people/beings/things, whether in this reality or not, then ignoring them will not suddenly make them go away.

Instead they will keep taking advantage of that limited belief and continue to influence/manipulate/attack you. As such, trying to pretend that there’s nothing wrong will allow such problems to grow in the background.

Many people allow such a thing to happen because they learn about the “law of attraction” but don’t take into account momentum of previous habits/beliefs/thoughts etc. Nor do they focus on strengthening the weaknesses they have in their energy fields to prevent them being a target to exploit.

It is always important to spend a lot of time focusing on the direction in life you wish to go in and developing momentum towards the “positive” but it is often necessary to also clear away that which anchors us to that which we don’t want.

Always acknowledge astral attacks

Now we know that ignorance of the non-physical realms doesn’t help, facing them and any problems you may have there becomes the only option.

While the law of attraction definitely works more quickly in the spiritual realms as momentum doesn’t take as long to build up nor slow down, people tend to take the beliefs they have in the physical world and apply them to the spiritual world, making difficulties in the spiritual harder to resolve.

This means that while theoretically you could just ignore the bad and focus on the good, such that the bad doesn’t exist, because of your attachment to the physical body and the collective consciousness of humanity, practically it doesn’t really work.

So whether you follow the advice of the rest of this article and try the warrior approach or you follow the advice of the previous article and focus on become the observer, both paths require you not to bury your head in the sand and instead get you to face your fears.

Courage

So the observer technique of the previous article and the warrior technique here, both require courage.

We often think of courage based on films, books and other story formats such as the hero standing up to the dragon is some big dramatic fashion. However, any situation where you try to better yourself or someone else’s situation despite having discouraging thoughts, uncomfortable emotions and other people/beings/things trying to stop you, is courage.

If you have the cravings of a cigarette whilst trying to give up smoking, a friend offering you a cigarette, thoughts of needing a smoke to feel better or to fit in with others, emotions coming up about guilt or regret from that too for example, choosing not to have a cigarette despite all this is also courage.

Learning to be ok with the conflict of thoughts and emotions especially and doing what is needed despite that, is important when facing your astral issues.

How to be a warrior in the astral/spiritual/etheric realms

In a way, this is the easy part to get across to people. The way in which you can fight the “negative” is as numerous as and limited as your imagination.

This is where Hollywood films can be of use in some ways (yes there are downsides to films too, especially if it generates chronic fear). There are a lot of examples of different powers and abilities of superheroes that you can imagine yourself using when you are in the spiritual realms.

You want to be super strong to fight off demons? No problem, imagine yourself being super strong and being able to prevent all of a demon’s attacks.

Maybe you want to have super strong armour to have their attacks bounce off you. Maybe you’d like to become ethereal so their attacks simply pass through you. Maybe you’d like to create worn-holes that suck them away and trap them in another reality and get burned up in molten rock.

It doesn’t have to necessarily be superpowers either. Maybe instead you’d like to imagine yourself as an inventor that creates things in the astral that prevents their attacks, or a detective that highlights to other benevolent beings any wrongdoing such that they are taken away.

Whatever power you wish to develop, all it takes is imagining it over and over in your mind, making the scenarios as real as you can make them. If possible you can also act out some things such as swinging a sword around in your living room.

Either way, start with an imaginary being that is easy to defeat in your mind and work your way up to more challenging creations such that eventually you can face the actual problem you are facing. Then, be courageous and face it.

If you fail, not a problem. Get back up and try again or try another power that can help.

Realising that your imagination can be made real in the astral is key to this working.

Of course if you are not awakened so much to the astral and thus cannot see/hear/feel entities beyond the physical then other techniques may be better, such as clearing statements, prayers, visual or sensory meditations. Things that can be covered in other articles.

Your imagination and therefore astral abilities can become so powerful that no amount nor seeming strength of entity/demon/spirit can succeed against you.

Like any spiritual practice it won’t necessarily work straight away

A lot of people give up after one try of something. I often see the schooling systems on this planet producing people that give up after one or only a few tries of learning something new. Probably because they are made to feel bad about mistakes by their peers, teachers or parents.

Remember that mistakes and failures are a part of learning. It is often said in the business world that those that are “successful” are simply the ones who have been willing to and have made more mistakes than the ones who only tried a few times and just gave up. Even those that lost all their wealth from a silly mistake, simply just got straight back up and tried again and again and made back their wealth and more so.

You’ll eventually learn that the imagination training for becoming a spiritual warrior is actually challenging your beliefs held on a deep level. The more you practice, the more you’ll realise that your ability to defeat demons of any kind is simply limited to how you believe yourself to be rather than the apparent strength or ability the demons appear to have.

As I’ve said over and over again over the years and whether you take this option or other options when facing negative entities of any kind, they are only as powerful as you believe them to be.

So keep practicing and know that you can cleave any demon in two simply be knowing you can. I know it works as I spent many hours day-dreaming of being a superhero as a child and it greatly helped when I awoke to that beyond the physical. Now demons are very scared of me!

The possible downside of being a successful spiritual warrior

I mentioned this briefly in the previous article. Essentially you get out what you put in – one of the fundamental laws of these realities we choose to be in.

So, if you keep fighting as a warrior, the universe/god/all-that-is/source, whatever you would like to call it, will simply throw more and more experiences towards you where you need to fight and your life may seem like an endless astral war as a result.

Even if you defeat the demon/dragon/ghost. Your vibration will be of fight and so like attracting like will mean that any being that likes to fight will more likely come across you. It can be tricky for many to suddenly let go of the fight energy once their initial problem has been solved.

Is there a positive way through this path however? Yes.

The two paths to peace through being a spiritual warrior

1. Continuing as a warrior without realising this fundamental truth of getting out what you put in, can mean that you have a sudden awakening through the stress you put yourself through.

2. Or, it may seem like you gain more peace by knowing that nothing can really harm you now you are powerful enough to defeat anything that comes your way. You may develop techniques of eliminating them that take seemingly less and less effort, helping you to feel more ease and eventually peace because you are simply not bothered by beings anymore.

The first way to peace can be very stressful and comes about due to people being stubborn with their beliefs, continuing the fight, the blame, the judgement and all the beliefs of being the victim and that reality is terrible etc. When such high stress levels happen, people can sometimes awaken due to that stress, almost as if their soul finally steps in and snaps them out of their world-view. There is no guarantee to awakening this way however and you might simply end up having just a very stressful life with no solution.

The stress route is NOT something that I would recommend to anyone and I often wonder what terrible things some of the people I saw ask for this route whilst I was in Ashrams in India! Still many people unwittingly end up going through such a stressful life of fight because they are so unwilling to challenge their beliefs and be curious about a different way.

The second path of the warrior is more like what was highlighted in Eastern teachings. You can see it discussed in the film “Hero” when the emperor is confronted by the hero of the movie near the end (though their are certainly limiting beliefs presented throughout the film too so be careful of that!).

This path is more likely for someone who is courageous, challenges their beliefs, faces their fears and as such, starts to gradually realise that all forms of demon are only as powerful as they believe. Thus they start to realise that fighting demons is easy, that they have to do very little. Even eventually not really having to do anything at all because they start to realise that they are infinite and untouchable.

It is at this point that the “sword dissolves in the heart” as it is no longer needed. You fundamentally end up in the same state as the observation technique mentioned in the previous article, where those demons/entities/monsters are simply harmless curiosities.

The warrior eventually ends up much like the observer ends up – both not needing any form of protection because they both know that they cannot be harmed unless they choose to experience harm.

Why I don’t recommend the warrior path to most people

The majority of people I come across wouldn’t do well to follow the warrior path. If I came across more of the general public that were in less of a crisis state, then I’m sure I would teach being a warrior more.

However, most I come across in my work are very much identified with the victim state and have tried to fight them off with a variety of techniques with varying success. Very often they have also seen a long list of other practitioners before they find me too.

Teaching warrior techniques to such people who have not questioned their beliefs, nor are willing to do so, can be counterproductive and means that they may end up fighting whilst holding onto those beliefs for a large portion if not the majority of the rest of their lives.

It is important to point out that if you struggle and keep generating fear, doubt, worry, blame etc, negative beings of all kinds LOVE that. You could say that it literally feeds them.

Unless you intend and work towards the peaceful path of the warrior mentioned above, continued fighting also maintains the belief that you can be harmed, making it more likely that you’ll experience some sort of harm again in future.

This is why in general I recommend the observation technique for most people as given by the previous article. For those that have had sessions with me in recent years, you may notice that I also don’t talk or act in a way that makes such beings significant.

This might seem cold or uncaring to some but I am that way because I cannot afford to join you in the lower vibrational reality of demons and even more so, I am trying to pull you out of that reality such that you can be calm about it like I am.

Walking down the valley of death & fearing no evil

You will notice that whether you use the observational technique or the warrior technique, the aim is to get you to a state where such lower vibrational entities are not a problem. You know they cannot harm you and only to the degree you believe. They are simply reflections of what energies you hold onto as an individuated consciousness from source/all-that-is/god.

You may still come across them from time-to-time, usually at your choosing but you have no fear of them. To an extent that you can literally walk with flimsy clothes on, no armour, no energy shields or other physical/technological/spiritual barriers, no weapons of any kind, no helpers/spirit guides/angels by you side, no need to use spells/affirmations etc you’ll just be comfortable in “the valley of death” with it’s ugly scenery, “dangerous” surroundings and “negative” entities, because they are no vibrational match to you without your fear of them. Instead they will run from you and/or be dissolved in your light.

Usually before this state of being, people start to realise that demons are your teachers from a higher perspective. They are simply reflecting back at you what you believe on a conscious and most importantly sub/un-conscious level. They are showing you what you don’t like/want. What you hold onto.

At this state of consciousness, you may even thank them for helping to guide you into the better state you are now in.

If there is interest, I can go into some other techniques for helping with astral attacks and how outside help can be of use. Many methods for many consciousnesses.

The only thing that worked against an astral attack

Astral attacks, spiritual attacks, etheric attacks, entity attacks, whatever you would like to call them, are not something that most people would want during their awakening journey.

They can happen for various reasons, but in my line of work, I come across them most often when people have just had or soon after they have had their first spiritual awakening. In other words, people who now have some sense to one degree or another of that beyond the physical, but have no useful knowledge of it and even worse, fall into the trap of thinking all the spiritual information in books and on the internet is true.

Most people don’t go through such an experience by the way, it’s just I’m exposed to them more due to being a healer.

Many people go through all sorts of methods before they find a solution

As I have written and spoken about in many articles and videos, there are all sorts of ways that spiritual attacks can be solved.

These include energy healing techniques (like the ones I offer), spiritual contract cancellations, affirmations, spiritual shields/protections, prayers, ceremonies, learning about and challenging limiting beliefs, learning to wake in your dreams or to astral travel to confront the attacks head-on, calling in guides, angels and other spiritual allies, moving house, altering leylines and other energetic lines, house cleansing, learning about and changing psychological and thus spiritual habits, even removing physical issues such as black mold, pharmaceuticals, junk foods and so on.

There is a long list of potential solutions and a lot of it depends on each individual’s consciousness, as everyone believes and therefore will respond differently to each technique. Of course, the source or cause of the attack will have an impact on what techniques would be best suited as well.

On top of that, people’s senses and/or descriptions of their experiences will differ and sometimes a practitioner may not understand fully the words a client will use to try and explain the situation.

These reasons and more are why people will often try all sorts of things before they finally find a solution.

What if the methods mentioned above don’t work?

What is key to all spiritual healing techniques is simply vibration change. Your experiences in the physical and spiritual worlds are a reflection of the way you vibrate. Whether you believe that to be caused by yourself or something outside of yourself doesn’t matter, you can still change the way you vibrate because you always have choice.

The main reason people often find it hard to change their vibration and thus have new experiences, including more pleasant ones, is because they keep focusing on what is wrong, what they don’t like and what they judge to be “bad” in a way that feeds, or if you like simply attracts more of the same.

I have mentioned many times that burying your head in the sand and trying to ignore the “bad” doesn’t help either, because you’ll simply allow it to fester and grow in your sub/un-consciousness or if you like spirit world and it’ll cause more trouble later on.

So being aware of what you don’t like whilst not feeding it at the same time is the key. But how do you allow yourself to be aware of something but not create/attract more of it, as many of my customers have asked over the years?

It can be hard to put into words. I have found that people have often interpreted my words in different ways such they often haven’t really comprehended what I was truly trying to say.

You can better get an understanding through experience, rather than through words.

To give you some idea however, I will give you a story of a close friend of mine who went through terrible things in the spiritual world at night. This story has been the inspiration behind many teachings I have given out that helped many people solve their seemingly unsolvable astral attacks:

My friend’s story

A good friend of mine went through some awful experiences. Basically she was being raped by astral beings every night. It was very real for her despite knowing that it was happening in the astral.

She could feel every touch as if it was physical, the emotions that went with it and could sense multiple beings around her and hear some of the nasty words they said, so it was not just a dream as some people might think.

She went to multiple psychics and healers as well as using other methods such as clearing statements and protective energy shields too. Whilst these worked for others, it wasn’t working for her. This was around 2012-2013 whilst I was still quite new to energy healing, so I wasn’t much use to her either.

She tried fighting them in many ways, but even on nights where it appeared to work, they would always be there stronger than ever the next night. Commanding them to leave, using modern and older statements did not work either, nor did calling in angels and guides.

I remember talking to her about all sorts of possible solutions, what the beings might be, whether it was due to something she did in this life or in past lives, whether she was being targeted or not. A whole host of subjects were discussed.

Her impression at the time was that it was from her past lives as a concubine in Egypt’s past and that the beings thought that they could treat her as a whore because of it. I’m not sure if her view on this has changed or not since but that was what made most sense to her at that time.

One quality she did have in abundance was curiosity, a desire to understand more. Certainly not someone who would give up easily too. So she continued to research, contemplate and play around with ideas.

Becoming a spiritual warrior and fighting back can be a good place for some people to start with, however the warrior will always continue to find more and more to fight.

The only thing that worked

Eventually she went back to the basic concepts that a lot of Eastern guides would talk about. I don’t remember what exactly she read at that time but a lot of what she said reminded me of the story of Buddha, realising that everything is an illusion and that the mind/ego would play lots of tricks to get him back to seeing things from a limited perspective.

So she began a very simple practice following these teachings: She began investing her energy into becoming the observer of the events every night.

Instead of being the victim and fighting against them she simply started to allow the rapes and attacks to happen without any fighting, trying to observe her thoughts, emotions and other sensations without judgement, resistance nor fight. If she did resist/fight then she would try and observe that in allowance too.

Because she, like the vast majority of people, identified herself with the thoughts that went through her mind, the emotions she felt and the physical and even energetic body she sensed (though most people haven’t awoken to the energetic body to identify with it), it was difficult to observe everything this way.

She had to catch herself each time the ego/mind would have thoughts about having to fight, that the beings are bad/evil, the thoughts of being a victim. She had to catch herself each time the emotions and physical sensations would make her believe she was that body going through that experience. Each time bringing her back instead to observing and acknowledging these things as if she was instead the observer of them.

This can be such a difficult thing for most people to do because of this strong attachment to the body and the identity given by the mind/ego, but she persevered each night anyway, trying not to get discouraged by the doubt that it not appearing to work initially gave her.

And doubt was certainly there because it didn’t seem to work to start with at all. However, my friend understood change from other experiences in life and the various teachings she had read. In this reality it takes consistent, regular and long enough effort to start to change the momentum around into a direction you wish to move in.

Anyone who has had several video-call sessions with me will know that I try to teach about momentum a lot.

But then…

Even after many days of trying to be the observer and it seemingly not working, she started to notice that she was getting better at observing rather than being drawn into the experience and identity of her old self. Not perfect but noticeably she was getting better at it.

She started to at first notice that the beings were getting angry at her and trying to make the experience worse for her. She thought, ah, I must be onto something here! So as she continued the observation practice getting better and better at observing she realised that they were getting weaker despite their heightened verbal abuse.

As the nights went on, the rapes were getting less severe. Fewer of them were able to rape her, even without her fighting them or pushing them away – they simply just couldn’t get to her.

They kept saying things to make her react such as curses or that she’ll be punished in the afterlife/next life etc – i cannot remember exactly what but something along those lines.

Eventually none of them could rape her and as her proficiency of observing in allowance grew, their power quickly lessened over the coming nights such that they couldn’t even touch her, then not even get close to her aura. Their voices were getting quieter, weaker and they were further and further away each night, desperately trying to get some sort of reaction from her.

Then eventually it all stopped as if they didn’t exist anymore!

This is what I try to teach

There are many ways of explaining why this technique worked from different perspectives.

In one way, she stopped feeding the beings. Lower vibrational beings like lower vibrational thoughts, emotions and actions. If you stop providing these by not judging/accusing etc with your thoughts, not generating more uncomfortable emotions and not physically fighting back, they have nothing to feed off of.

You could also say that by investing yourself in the observer state, you raise your vibration to that of the observer or if you like your higher-self or soul-self depending on your point-of-view. That higher vibrational state is no longer a vibrational match to lower vibrational beings and so you cannot coexist in the same reality for very long.

You might also say that because she was learning to allow rather than resist the thoughts, emotions and other energies going through her, that she cleared a lot of energy blocks of traumas, limiting beliefs etc and so her body and aura became a higher vibration for that reason.

There are many ways to explain this and not all view-points make sense to everyone

Always remember that while fighting and running away is often necessary in the physical world (because you unfortunately can’t just magic away physical opponents in this reality) it doesn’t help long-term in the spiritual world because you get more of what you put out.

In fact low-vibrational beings WANT you to fight back and make them more significant because they know that they can’t exist in your reality without you doing that.

Learning to observe and be in allowance is the harder path when going through challenging situations but it can be the only solution for some.

Can fighting work too?

Just like protective barriers can be useful in the short-term, becoming a warrior in the spiritual world can be useful at times. Many of you might be better starting off being a warrior before realising the truths of the above paragraphs.

You will always have to remember the laws of this reality however, one of them being “you get out what you put in”.

A warrior who gets better at fighting will find more and more reasons and situations to fight in and as they get better and better, stronger and stronger opponents will appear.

As an old Chinese story mentions, the path of the warrior, assuming they don’t feel defeated and become a victim along that path, eventually ends with the warrior realising this fundamental “law of attraction” and so dissolves the sword in their heart to finally see the end of fighting.

The Difference Between Soul Memory and Cellular Memory

This is a subject that has often come up during my treatments with people to help them have more ease with the awakening process.

Being human can often seem schizophrenic, even for people that haven’t had some sort of awakening. Learning about the different forms of ego, even from the established psychology view-point, can be very useful in helping to have more ease with the seemingly monkey mind and the different characters it forms, that are often contradictory to each other.

While we could also delve into the subject of telepathy and the tendency of us humans to pick up on thoughts and emotions in the human collective consciousness that aren’t ours, the subject of soul versus cellular memory can be useful to at least understand that which does come from ourselves.

Mainstream science loves us to believe that memory is stored due to linkages between nerve cells, especially in the brain. Personally I view the brain as simply a transmitter and receiver between the physical and that of the ether, much like a lot of the rest of the body can be too. As such the physical body is simply a reflection of that going on beyond the physical and repeated mental, emotional and spiritual states can eventually reflect as changes to the physical structure including brain and DNA.

Soul Memory

The meaning of “soul” does vary a bit depending on where you read about it. The way I prefer to view it, is simply that part of you, that identity, that you take with you from life to life. Your “higher Self” you could also call it from another perspective.

That essence you take with you of course, also includes the memories of other lives you’ve lived. Those memories shape your perspectives and beliefs and so can have a big impact on how you behave in future lives, including the choice of what life you decided to have this time around too.

If you have had many lives in societies that are kind, loving, supportive, peaceful, don’t use money etc then you may have beliefs from a soul level that make you to some extent incompatible with this reality you are in, or so you may feel. Whereas if you’ve had many lives here and are more used to it then you might feel more comfortable here. More on that later.

Cellular Memory

Cellular simply means of the cell. The human body is made up of trillions of cells functioning together to form the different organs that make up the physical body.

Those that have been following me for some time may know that I have degrees in biochemistry and osteopathy. While I now view a lot of what I was taught to be false, those degrees still gave me a good understanding of what those “in power” wish us to believe rather versus true science.

Genetics is a very good example of a controlled science. Lots of what is taught is very true but there are gateways that I find are blocked in this subject to truly understanding what genes are, and especially how genes can be switched on (or off) and even re-written.

One of the things I didn’t understand for a long time, was why “fringe” scientists and alternative communities were talking about genes being memory. It certainly wasn’t taught that way in my biochemistry degree where we went very deep into the subject!

But genes are memory! It is the physical representation of memory. I also believe that memory is held in cells outside of genetics but I won’t complicate things too much here…

To understand why, it took me a long time, a lot of study and contemplation – years in fact. Basically there are studies out there and a lot of discussions and theories from different scientists about how changing the way you behave, especially for a prolonged period, actually makes certain genes switch on or off and can even re-write the genes themselves! The theories on how the formally called “junk DNA” actually are dormant genes and also can be used to alter other genes was particularly fascinating.

It would take a long time and go beyond the scope of this article to explain this genetic memory deeply in biochemical terms but essentially if your genes are different based on how you think, feel and behave on an unconscious, not just conscious level then you can also trace back through families’ ancestries to how they behaved and the likely experiences they would have had that formed such behaviours and beliefs.

i.e. genes and the cells that they are in are a kind of memory – what I call “cellular memory”

If you’ve ever wondered why families often look similar and behave in similar ways, the genes have a big influence on that. However you are not entirely the same and often can be very different to your parents. The main reasons you are different are due to external influences (such as different diets, different life experiences, different teachings, different stresses in life etc), that fact that you only take half of the genes from one parent and half from the other and…. your different SOUL MEMORY!

DNA – what can be viewed as a more permanent store of memory than that theorised by the brain.

Dissociative Identity Disorders

If you are still not convinced that genes can be changed or at least switched on and off quickly, you might want to look into dissociative identity disorders, previously known as multiple personality disorders. This is where one person is seen to have two or more different personalities that come out at different times, with varying degrees of awareness of each other.

They can be so different that one personality can drive a car but another cannot. One may be a Muslim and another a Christian and yet another an atheist. One may like chocolate and another doesn’t etc

This is reflected in gene switching too, which is the reason I am writing about this here. There are cases where one personality has type-1 diabetes where they need to inject insulin and the other personality does not!

Considering that type-1 diabetes is considered congenital, how can the genetic expression of the body change so quickly when a new personality comes into the body?! Because consciousness can change genetics and each personality is like a different consciousness with a different memory – and genes to and reflect that different memory.

I hope this example really highlights what I am saying about cellular memory here.

Memory can also be considered programming

Your memories affect your beliefs because of the perspectives you have of them. This means that memories are a bit like a computer program in that you will function differently based on the beliefs you have.

So changing your cellular or soul memories, or at least your perspective of them, has a huge impact on the way we behave, much like a computer functions differently depending on the program.

Trauma, experiences and the beliefs formed from them get passed down through cellular memory

While your soul memory is specific to you and the different lives you’ve lived (yes there’s more to that statement but I’m trying to keep it simple here!), your cellular memory, starts off at least, based on what your parents did, your grandparents did on so on.

If your great-grandmother went through a traumatic experience with a man for example, she may have come to the conclusion and thus belief that men are bad. If that is strong enough of an experience to impact the sub/unconsciousness and thus change the DNA, then any off-spring she may have after that, will have that belief passed onto them.

If those children of hers don’t challenge that belief, have supportive/nice experiences from men etc then that cellular memory gets passed along yet again to the next generation, meaning that they too may also on some level believe men are bad.

This will continue to get passed along until a family member faces that belief and questions whether it is true or not and/or experiences good things from men to an extent that the cellular memory gets rewritten.

The schizophrenic human life

Let’s loop back to what I mentioned at the start – life as a human seeming schizophrenic.

Ignoring that fact that humans are psychic and pick up on others all the time without realising, the main reason many feel  like they are two people in one that are often at odds with each other is simply because your beliefs on a soul level can be very different to your beliefs on a cellular level.

Some people on the awakening path may even side with one side of themselves to such an extent that they think that the other side is some sort of entity possession. While real possessions can happen, the vast majority of the time with the people I come across, it is simply a case of the negative side of the ego trying to separate you into different parts and using the cellular versus soul memory differences as leverage.

If you instead see that there is bound to be friction between the soul and physical body if you’ve led very different lives in the past compared to your current life, then you can have more ease with yourself.

It may also help to understand that physical genes may be changed over time – a reflection of that fact that you can change your sub and even un-consciousness.

One effect of clearing blockages in your aura by working on yourself spiritually, is more energy being available to activate more genes. The main effect of these dormant genes is an improved nervous system such that you can perceive, receive and process more information from this and other densities.

Cellular and soul memory can be changed!

While in main-stream genetics we are taught that genes only change due to mutations, such as from chemical or physical stresses or just “chance”, that is not true. Genes can be switched on or off due to how you think, feel and act – this is part of what’s called “epigenetics”. If you do this for a prolonged period, then you can even start to re-write them and literally become a different person as a result.

How do you know that you’ve changed your genetics? You will BE different and the change will be most noticeable in your habits. I’m not just talking about physical habits here. Your mental and emotional habits too.

For example, if you habitually procrastinate and want to change that behaviour. If you make efforts to notice when you start to procrastinate and instead try to accomplish what you would normally avoid, gradually over time it gets easier to make a productive choices.

If you keep working on this it becomes easier and easier to be productive rather than procrastinate. Eventually if done for a long enough period it becomes a new habit to not procrastinate, at which point it requires no effort to steer yourself away from excuses. i.e. you are no longer a procrastinator and you know that you’ve changed your genetic programming or sub/unconsciousness.

This works exactly the same for soul memory too – your blueprint in the ether from which your physical body is a reflection of will shift in vibration to fit the new behaviour pattern.

In this way you can change both the cellular and/or soul programming to suit who you wish to be. Done for long enough, there will obviously be less friction and more ease within yourself.

Is Grounding a real thing?

Hello to you all!

First of all, thank you to those who wrote to me with their ideas on what video software I should use going forwards, seeing as my favorite software, Skype, was being retired this month. Many of your suggestions were not well-known enough, did not work on PC, Mac, iPhones and/or Android phones, did not have enough security, or simply did not work very well in practice (here’s looking at you Microsoft Teams!). So, I’ve decided to use Zoom in the end even though I find it more awkward that Skype, as it’s been proven to be more stable and it’s well-known by most.

Grounding Experiment

Whilst I was out in the garden playing around with the idea of measuring what grounding does, I thought I’d quickly take pictures and do a video for you. For those that like to watch rather than read here’s my first “video short” on youtube about my little experiment:

The video shows that when I use my multi-meter to look at electrical resistance between my body and the ground, when I am bare-foot in the garden, there is much less electrical resistance compared to when I am wearing my wellies (or gum boots for my American speaking friends!).

I show that when there is no resistance at all, i.e. when I touch the two bare ends of the test wires together, the reading is 0.000 ohms:

When the two test wires are not touching each other nor anything else, it reads as 1 Mega ohm of resistance (the most the multi-meter is able to display), showing that there is virtually no possibility for electricity to pass from one test lead to the other:

When I connect one test lead into the ground and hold the other in my fingers whilst barefoot, the resistance lowered to around 0.300 Mega ohms at it’s best reading today. This indicates that, although my body still has relatively high resistance to the flow of electricity, compared to a copper wire for example, electricity can very much flow through my body, through the grass and into the ground and vice versa:

When I put my wellies, wellington boots or gum boots on – whatever you prefer to call them, the reading is 0.000 again indicating virtually no possibility for electricity to pass through my body, through the boots and into the ground and vice versa:

If it was confusing, basically the higher the resistance, the higher the number on the display. The lower the resistance, the lower the number on the display.

In this experiment, a lower reading means that electricity will find it easier to travel through the body, whereas a higher reading means it is harder to move through the body.

I managed to get it as low as 0.3 Mega-ohms of resistance at best today and as you can see in the video, the position of the foot relative to the sensor, the particle and water content of the soil, how much vegetation is in the way etc all affect the readings.

While it doesn’t prove that electricity is always flowing through the body when grounded (though proven by others with much better equipment than I have!), it at least shows how we are electrically connected to the ground and the potential for electrical movement.

The volt measurement setting on my multi-meter was not sensitive enough to pick up any potential difference between me and the ground unfortunately.

I know many of you that I have been in contact with, can feel the energy move through their feet into the ground and vice versa well enough to not need this information to prove it. I just thought that it would be a nice confirmation with “real-world” equipment and for those that aren’t aware of it yet.

Obviously there are a lot of health and energetic benefits to grounding which is beyond the scope of this short article!

For those interested, I can do more experimental grounding videos for example with different foot-wear and on different surfaces and at different times of the year. It will likely be harder to measure with my equipment through concrete or floor tiles for example, even though I know energy can move through those surfaces when bare-foot, but I can try and see…

My services update and discontinuation of Skype in May

Just a quick update to those who use my healing services and how they will work in the coming months…

Microsoft (who bought Skype some years ago) have recently announced that they will be discontinuing Skype May this year.

Seeing as I have always preferred Skype over other video services like zoom, I’m a bit disappointed but it will mean that I will have to consider other options.

I’m considering some open-sourced options but it is more likely that I’ll use one of the more well-known video softwares, simply because not everyone is computer literate and many people seem to have an aversion to downloading things they are not familiar with!

I’m not sure if “Microsoft Teams” or “Zoom” would be the better option – both have very disturbing things written in their small-print! But it’ll likely be one of those two, seeing as I use a laptop during my healing sessions.

For the time being, I will be open to using different video/conference softwares during my sessions.

Is some of the advice in the new-age movement about specific frequencies wrong?!

The “Guitar Tuner” app that I personally use. Note how you can change the tuning standards from the A=440Hz shown in the picture to another standard such as the A=432Hz standard I use.

Like many, I have written a lot about the effects of certain frequencies on us. Afterall, we consist from a human point-of-view, of energy the vibrates at a certain rate or frequency, and can be influenced by frequencies around us.

Always remember though that we are from source itself, and as such, we have the ability to define our vibration irrespective of what is going on around us, no matter the density. However, whilst experiencing being human, we often find it difficult to not be influenced by the energies around us and that is why myself and others have written so much about choosing to listen to and surround ourselves with energies that are beneficial to us in many ways.

Another key point, again based on us being source itself, is that no matter what people say and indeed what is said in this article, if you feel moved by a piece of music, get joy from it, feel motivated by it etc then it is beneficial to you in that moment. This is irrespective of whether the musical instruments were tuned in a way that is harmonious with nature and health , whether the words were positive or not nor whether the musicians have their own spiritual issues, drug issues, personal life issues etc or not.

Going by how you feel rather than what is said in this article or others is more important than any one theory. Who knows, maybe these theories will be dis-proven yet again at some point in the future!

With that said, let’s get into some of my recent discoveries in terms of frequencies:

528Hz – often claimed to be the “love frequency”

If you go onto You Tube and look at all the channels that play various frequencies for various different benefits, 528Hz is a common frequency you come across.

It is often claimed to be the frequency of love and as such is beneficial for DNA healing, healing in general and helping with enlightenment.

If you look into my previous articles, I too have mentioned about this frequency with these effects. At the time I didn’t realise how complex the subject of specific frequencies were and how deep the manipulation of our beliefs about those frequencies were either.

Some people may have asked the simple question “If You Tube is so keen on censoring information that is beneficial to spiritual awakening and/or exposing the lies the cabal tells us, why are certain frequencies that are supposed to enlighten us so freely available via You Tube?”

I don’t really have a clear-cut answer for that question but some of you might benefit from asking that question ;-).

I first came across alternative beliefs to the mainstream new-age media when one of my customers shared a video she was listening to on You Tube to help her feel better – thank you Kristine by the way! After reading a series of comments by that music maker claiming that certain frequencies are not what they are claimed to be, I came across various articles that highlighted my lack of knowledge on a variety of frequencies.

To summarise, it appears that the 528Hz frequency was simply made up as a healing frequency! Interestingly in music, it is the C note when you tune your musical instruments to A=440Hz (i.e. when the A note is 440Hz).

It was supposedly the Nazis that started trying to get the musical standard changed from more harmonious standards to the A=440Hz standard, which after the second world war was then pushed by the Americans and British to be the musical standard we have today. I have no way of verifying this story but this is what is commonly said in the alternative communities and it appears from research to not be a standard that is harmonious with healing, nature and healing. The information I wrote about this in a previous post is still relevant it seems: “making-your-music-more-harmonious-with-the-planet-by-using-a432-hertz-tuning”

Due to modern ways of tuning musical instruments, it gets a bit more complex. Prior to computers, tuning notes on instruments was done by ear – Pythagorean tuning, where the difference in frequencies between notes wasn’t exactly equal. Because computers always want to divide up the notes equally, if you start with the A note being 440Hz you actually end up with a C note of 523.25Hz and not 528Hz. So even if you believe that 528Hz is good for you, using digital/app-based tuners won’t give you the frequency you thought you were getting anyway.

Similarly when using the more harmonious A=432Hz standard, as I explained appears o be more harmonious with life in the article link above, you will get different frequencies of the other notes depending on whether you use an app or not. With traditional tuning the C note would be 518.4Hz whereas with a typical tuning app the C note would be 513.74Hz.

So as you can see, it appears that the 528Hz frequency was based on the non-harmonious A=440Hz standard and thus is a frequency that simply was made up, likely by 3-letter organisations of the world, to mislead people.

If you really want to go down the rabbit hole, even if you correct the frequency of the C note in music to 518.4 Hz, it is actually more akin to the frequencies related to the base chakra, not the heart chakra according to music researchers. The same people appear to use instead 728Hz for the heart chakra and love frequencies, which I have not researched myself yet – so please use your own discernment on that.

The solfeggio frequencies don’t appear to be what they are claimed

Yet another set of frequencies I have mistakenly written about in the past, like many others.

The history of how these frequencies came to be is very much in question. Guido d’Arezzo, was the man who supposedly came up with the solfeggio tones and was said to have come up with them after being guided to find a hidden scale in the bible supposedly using the bible numbering system. The trouble is that the bible numbering system didn’t come to be until 500ish years after Guido d’Arezzo!

The other obvious problem is that the solfeggio frequencies, which are said to be 396, 417, 528, 693, 741, and 852Hz make up a different scale to the scale we have used apparently since 500BC where the distance between notes is more equal.

Considering that Guido d’Arezz was said to have used solfeggio frequencies in the song “Hymn to St. John the Baptist”, actually singing that song with the solfeggio frequencies sounds awful. Moreover, only string and keyboard type instruments can make the necessary adjustments to play all the solfeggio notes. Brass and woodwind instruments no matter how much you adjust them cannot play all the notes, so a concert using solfeggio frequencies would sound even more awful!

I have no idea whether he really did come up with these frequencies or not or whether it is a manipulation of history like so much of our history unfortunately is. What is clear though, is that the solfeggio notes and the scale that actually was used by Guido d’Arezz to sing “Hymn to St. John the Baptist” are not the same scale.

It appears more likely that these solfeggio notes are a more recent invention, likely to yet again throw off awakened people from truly beneficial frequencies and of course, get them arguing amongst themselves over what is true/correct/best or not.

Summary

While this article doesn’t go into all the different frequencies suggested by the new-age movement, it highlights how much has been manipulated over time by those organisations we all know well enough about by now!

Try not to let this put you off music however. There are some lovely pieces of music online, even those using the 528Hz and solfeggio frequencies. If you feel better in some way after listening to them, then that is the most important thing by far – your perception can be more powerful than any logical information presented here and elsewhere.

Training yourself to see the Aura / Human Energy Field

The Northern Lights over Granö, Sweden where I am currently staying. An example of how etheric energies can start to appear to us as they come closer to the vibrational range we are used to seeing.

Being able to see people’s auras is probably one of the most exciting things to think about when you start hearing about the abilities you could unlock when awakening to higher levels.

The process is simple from one perspective and yet many people struggle with it and very often give up. Here I will give some simple practices you can incorporate into your daily routine to start being able to see auras with your physical eyes.

Inner versus outer vision

The first thing to clear up is the difference between what you could call inner vision and outer vision.

When people talk about opening up the 6th chakra to be able to see things beyond the physical, there are two different forms of vision they may be talking about.

The first type of vision is simply that which you sense through your physical eyes and which your brain interprets into what you see. You could call this “outer vision” when comparing it to inner vision, as you are viewing what we perceive as the outer world. This is the type of vision this particular blog article will focus on.

The second is the type of vision that you see through your pineal gland, rather than your physical eyes. I often like to refer to this sort of vision as the “mind’s eye” and it is what you are using when you are picturing a memory, creating an image in your mind as well as being able to see into other realities for example.

The pineal gland is very much like a physical eye. It is a fluid filled sac and has rod and cone cells within it just like your other eyes do. The main difference is that it does not have a pupil nor iris to control how much light comes in. It also has I am told, the highest blood supply per cell of any organ in the body – this is how important inner vision or if you like imagination and forming pictures in our mind is to us humans. This is why the pineal gland is often referred to as the “3rd eye”.

Hopefully this has cleared up any confusion between the two types of vision improvements that can be gained from opening up the 6th chakra.

Some key things that can help

Some of the following points should be obvious but you’d be surprised at how many people don’t work on underlying factors that could help them have more ease with awakening abilities!

  1. Look after your physical body! For example, make sure you are eating enough of the right nutrients to give your body enough energy to activate more genes, to get more out of your vision and to be able to build the rod and cone cells of eyes eyes needed. Vegetarians and especially vegans will often struggle to have enough retinol as a building block for example. Getting enough sleep, stretching, exercising, resting, getting enough natural light through the eyes etc can all have an impact on your physical body’s ability to repair and activate more of the eye and brain functions necessary to be able to see more than people typically do.
  2. Learning to sense you eyes and whether they are relaxed or not is very useful. I recommend using the “body scanning technique” I have mentioned in earlier blog articles. Also know as the Goenka style of vipassana which I covered in this youtube video: Goenka’s vipassana meditation – a body-scanning meditation. Using this technique you can gain greater awareness of the inner and outer surfaces of the eye ball, the iris, pupil, the muscles around the eye, the eye socket, the optic and oculomotor nerves, the brain stem, the higher centres of the brain related to vision and many other organs that affect your ability to see and interpret vision. Most obviously it can help in providing consciousness to and thus healing and awakening to those areas you pay attention to. It will also help in noticing and being able to relax the eyes more during the exercises I will give later in this article. Having an anatomy picture of the eyes and the nerves that supply them can give you fantastic guidance on what you can and cannot sense and thus what to work on.

    Some of the internal structures of the eye you can learn to sense into. I would also recommend using anatomy pictures of the muscles around the eye and the eye socket so that you can sense into them and relax them better during the exercises in this article.
  3. Have ease and patience with your progression. We very much live is a quick-fix world and often people expect changes to happen quickly, especially when people read about sudden awakenings that others have had around the world. These sudden awakenings are the minority. Most people have to put in the time and effort to gain a new skill and this is especially the case for awakening spiritual abilities. The vipassana technique above will help you with patience and being able to relax into the thoughts and emotions that will very much come to the surface when you see that you appear to have not made any progress. It will also help you let your higher senses come to you rather than you forcing it to happen too much. Too much force will create strain and stresses that lower your vibration and thus make things take longer. Learning to put time in without stressing about it is important.
  4.  Setting out a plan of action. This is perhaps the most important part. Writing out an action plan and sticking to it will make you far more likely to achieve being able to see auras with your eyes. Like learning any new skill in life it takes consistency and regularity. Just like you will not notice any muscle gain and fitness improvement after only a few sessions nor over numerous sessions that are sporadically done over the year rather than done every week, the same is true for gaining spiritual abilities. I would recommend that you put aside 10 to 20 minutes every day for practicing the exercises below if you want to see results. Again don’t expect that changes will happen within this or that time-frame. Everyone is different and will progress at their own speed. The odd day off each month is not a problem but the more often you practice and the more years you practice it, the better the results.
  5. Don’t expect to see the aura the same way as other people do. Everyone will see things in their own way. There will be some things that will be similar but some things will not be and of course this can change over time as you keep practicing and challenging your beliefs. You may simply be tuning into a different density of the aura than someone else without realising.
  6. You will start to see the aura more easily at first with you peripheral vision. Your central vision is habitually used to focus in the way it has learnt so far and to see the colours it usually sees. Because we don’t really use our peripheral vision so much in modern life, we don’t have so much habit limiting what we may see there yet and so we tend to find it easier to see the aura there first. Some people talk about rod cells that are used in our peripheral vision being part of the reason but I don’t feel that is the main reason personally. So with this in mind focusing you eyes directly on the aura, such as an inch to the side of the head of someone you are looking at, may hinder your progress. Looking at the center of their face whilst being aware of what is to the side of their face in your peripheral vision is a far better starting place.

How the aura might start to appear initially

For most people, what is typically referred to as the “etheric” density of the aura (layer is not a good word when describing parts of the aura- density is more accurate!) in the Barabara Brennan model of the aura for example, is the density that is seen first.

This etheric density is the closet in vibration to the physical body and it is the density that is considered to be that which does not continue far from the body too. Typically, depending on the health and vibrancy of the individual, it can be about 1 to 2 inches away from the body. If you are looking at a large tree however, the etheric density can be much larger and extend meters away from the physical part of the tree.

To start with, most people start to see this etheric density a bit like it is when looking through glass. You can see through the glass but you can tell that the glass is there. The etheric density looks “energetic” however and could be described as plasma.

Camera pictures of candle flames won’t really show the see-through plasma very well as they are designed to only pick up the wavelengths of light we typically see. This picture gives you some idea however. It is far better to buy some candles and take a look yourself.

To get an idea of what plasma looks like, look at a candle flame. The oranges and reds of the flame you see are plasma too which your eyes can obviously pick up very easily, as those are colours that the eye is used to seeing. However, look a little bit above the visible flame and you might start to see part of the flame that is see-through, like glass. This is plasma too but at a wavelength of light that we are not used to seeing. This can give you an idea of how you might start to see the etheric density of the aura close to the physical body.

The aura pulses

The other key thing when starting to look at the aura is that that aura is in a constant state of flux. i.e. it is continually changing according to what is happening in the physical body – especially the case for the etheric density, as well as what a person is thinking, feeling and experiencing in all densities.

I have observed that the cranio-sacral pulse that our physical bodies have in response to how they make and absorb cranio-sacral fluid, seems to have quite an impact on the vibrancy of the etheric density of the aura.

This means that especially as you are starting out, it may appear that the etheric density appears or is more easily seen for a number of seconds then it disappears or fades for a number of seconds before repeating again. For a healthier person it will be easier to see the aura, especially as it brightens with the pulse, because they have more energy flowing through them and thus it becomes easier to see.

Being aware of this pulse may help you have more ease if you get confused as to why the aura seems easier to see one moment compared to another.

With practice more of the aura becomes visible

As time goes by and you get quicker at seeing the etheric density and more detail become apparent, you may start to see colours.

The Barbara Brennan model of the human energy field aka aura, separating it into 7 distinct densities or if you like bodies. This can give you an idea of how you might start to perceive the aura over time though not everyone will see things exactly the same way.

In the Barbara Brennan model of the aura, the etheric density has a blue-ish colour. A lot of people do start to see the etheric density in this way as time goes by with continued practice.

However, many people, including those that I have met who have done the Barbara Brennan course see the etheric density as red rather than blue. This is a good example of how people can view the spiritual realms in different ways. Neither of them are wrong – perception based on underlying beliefs as you will learn in your awakening journey have a huge impact on what you sense, but that is a story for another day!

As you continue to practice, many other colours will become apparent and you will start to see energies further away from the body than what the etheric density typical reaches. The next density up is called the emotional density or emotional body and there are much more colours here than in the etheric density. They are much more changeable depending on thoughts, actions and how the person is responding to them, as emotional energies a quick to change in humans!

With time further densities of energy become visible of course, such as mental energies, astral energies and so on.

Generally people say that the effort put into seeing these higher densities of the aura appears to be less that the amount of effort they put into starting to see the etheric density because they have built up so much momentum in their practice.

ok, lets get stuck into the exercises you can do!

Exercise no.1 – Using trees

Probably an altered picture but it can give you an idea of what you might see initially.

I thought I’d start with using trees as this is one of the easiest exercises to start with (unless you live somewhere like Iceland where there are no trees!) and does not require another person.

Trees also typically have a huge energy field around them that especially under certain lighting conditions, makes the etheric density of the aura easier to see than in people and other plants etc

If the exercise below doesn’t work too well on a particular day, try another time of the day or when the weather changes to different lighting conditions. Obviously a clear sky rather than a cloudy one will make things easier for you as you’ll have a more uniform background to see the aura against.

Just like the exercise above of looking at a candle flame try to look at the top of the tree. I find conifers are some of the easiest trees to start with as they have more of a uniform shape at the top all year round compared to irregular shapes of deciduous trees.

The most important thing to do to start with is to have the centre of you vision on the physical part of the tree, whilst paying attention to what is around the tree with your peripheral vision.

As explained earlier in this article, you are far more likely to pick up the aura in your peripheral vision than your central vision when starting out. You will notice that when you do start to see the aura, that if you bring the centre of your focus directly on the aura around the tree that you loose your vision of the aura.

So, each time you feel your eyes being drawn to looking directly at the aura around the tree, catch yourself and come back to looking directly at the physical tree and pay attention to what your peripheral vision senses around the tree.

Be patient and remember than there will be a pulse to the aura making it easier to see for a number of seconds then harder for a number of seconds.

Exercise no.2 – Using a mirror to look at yourself

This can be another very powerful technique if you have no one else to work with. It has one major advantage over looking at trees – you can more easily control the lighting conditions and thus can use this technique any time of the day, by using curtains to block outside light if needed and light bulbs to create and direct light in the direction you wish.

The main disadvantage of this technique can be not having a mirror in the right location or a suitable background to view yourself against.

Ideally you should have a plain white background behind you and opposite the mirror. The more of your body you can see in the mirror against this white background the better.

If you don’t have a white background, then light coloured backgrounds can still work. I don’t recommend a patterned background such as what you get with decorative wall-papers, nor dark coloured backgrounds.

If you don’t have the ideal set-up you can always paint a section of wall white, use white curtains or a large white-board etc to give you that ideal background opposite your mirror. Obviously the larger the mirror and the clearer and cleaner it is the better. Playing around with these elements is worthwhile to get a comfortable setup before practicing.

To start, stand/sit in front of the mirror so that you can see yourself clearly in the mirror as well as the white back ground behind you. The background should be able to be visible to at least a couple of feet all around your image in the mirror. This makes sure it is easy to see the etheric density around you plus a foot or so of space further than that. This extra space makes it easier to contrast what you might be seeing within an inch or so from you body.

Just like with the tree exercise, try to bring your central vision focus to the middle of your face or body (depending on how much of yourself you can see in the mirror) and pay attention to what your peripheral vision may sense around your body.

Exercise no.2 – Using a friend/partner to look at

This method ideally needs a plain white background for the same reasons in the last exercise. However it may be easier to get going as you don’t need to worry about using a mirror.

The main disadvantage of this method is it may be difficult to find someone who is willing to do this with you and/or being able to do it regularly. “What weird stuff do you want me to do now?!” might be a typical response!

However, if you do find someone that is willing to do this and can fit into your schedule easily, that other person can really help you to keep motivation going over time and it may be a lot of fun too.

Essentially you do the same as what I said in the last exercise, except this time you will be looking at your friend/partner against a white background rather than yourself in a mirror. Again use your peripheral vision until you can consistently see the aura before trying to see their aura with your central vision.

Exercise n0.3 – Looking at your hand

Not the best picture for an example but it may give you an indication of how far your aura may be seen from your hand – less than an inch to start with and over time possibly more…

This is probably the easiest method for most people in most situations, especially when you’re on the move a lot.

The hands can be a very useful part of the body to train with. You don’t have to rely on mirrors or other people and all it takes is for you to move you hand around so that there is a nice plain, ideally white background behind it.

Then it is simply a case of following the steps in the above exercises, again firstly trying to see the aura around the hand using your peripheral vision.

I also recommend putting both hands up in front of you and as you slowly bring two fingers from each hand closer to each other, the energy transfer from one finger to the next might make it easier to see the aura there.

Exercise no.4 – Using “aura glasses”

All of the above exercises can be done whilst using what people refer to as “Aura glasses”.

Please don’t spend too much money when buying aura glasses. They are simply purple-blue lenses and can be bought very cheaply rather than pay the extra money people charge charge for them!.

Essentially the purple-blue lens can make it easier to start to see colours your eyes are not used to perceiving by helping you contrast those colours. The disadvantage could be that you are programming yourself to see certain colours more than others when using these sorts of glasses but I feel that it can be of use anyway. And of course they are very cheap to buy and try out anyway.

When trying these out myself, I found that these glasses worked better in some lighting conditions than others. They are certainly not needed but it might be of help on days that are different to the lighting conditions you usually perceive the aura with.

Artifacts

Just a quick note about artifacts. Not historical artifacts but images left in your visual field after staring at something for a while.

You may notice this if you are looking at a computer or phone screen for some time and when you look at something else, or even more obviously when you close your eyes, you may still see a bright rectangle shape in the middle of your vision even though the screen isn’t there anymore. This is an example of an artifact.

Your eyes are moving very quickly in several directions all the time. This is how we get a lot of our peripheral vision and how we can almost see in a range of 180 degrees in front of us despite our eyes not being capable of that range on their own.

This quick and almost inperceptible movement can create faint images around what you are looking at and sometimes be confused for the aura. You may notice this by looking at the edges of the screen you are using to read this.

How do you tell the difference between these artifacts and the aura? Practice will make it obvious over time. The most obvious difference is that the aura will pulse in and out of vision. The other obvious difference is that that aura behaves like fluid around objects which means that you can play with it and change its shape. This also means that the aura doesn’t always have the same shape as the physical object/body it is emanating from.

Summary

Practice makes perfect. Be regular and consistent with your training and be patient.

Anyone can do this with enough practice as long as they look after their physical body well enough.

Intention & not having to be perfect to start doing healing!

Kobdalis, Sweden where I went skiing recently. The countryside of Sweden always has such a strong grounding energy compared to the UK, especially when it is very cold. Here is was minus 25 degrees Celcius which exaggerates the stillness even more, though indoors it’s still a nice warm 24 degrees! A lovely environment personally to do healing work on others, but as you’ll see in this article it isn’t necessary to work in such a place.

I often come across people who are interested in learning healing. One of the common things that stops those people from doing healing, even after completing a healing course, is that they often feel that they should be in a better state before performing healing on others. That they should be more cleansed themselves or have better control of their thoughts/emotions etc

Sometimes they don’t want to try a new technique or work on certain energies or subjects that seem to difficult, technical or as they see it may cause more harm than good (more on that last one later!).

Often too, they want to have a particular room, area or have a particular set up that they feel is of a good vibration before receiving people for healing.

Let’s start setting out why it may actually be better to just get stuck in shall we?

Intention is important

This is such an important topic!

Intention sets the direction in which a healing will go. Simply by intending to do work that is beneficial for another person will already start to change things for the better.

This can be so powerful that even if the person you are working on has fears or doubts about your abilities as a healer to some extent, you can still create a positive effect on them by setting a strong, clear intention to help them.

It can be so strong that even if you have negative thoughts about you and your abilities, about whether you are doing the right thing and even about who you are working on, that it can override those and still create a positive effect.

There have been many many times when I have had negative thoughts about myself or the person I’m working on, not paying full attention as my mind wanders, not feeling like I’ve done as much as I could during a session, that I haven’t fully cleared or corrected something in a person’s aura and so on.

Yet very often because of holding a clear intention to help and especially continually coming back to that intention whenever I have had the above happen, clients still report feeling better in one way or another. Their aura I can see has still improved. In some cases even, their life has seen a huge shift and their complaint has completely resolved.

This is no different to my experiences when working as a fitness instructor/personal trainer and as an osteopath. Sometimes what seems like too little work, inefficient work or too simple advice can create fantastic changes for the people you are working with.

How to set a good intention

There are many ways depending on your preferences and beliefs.

The most obvious way is to simply say in your head and/or out loud what you intend for the healing session before you start. Reaffirming it at times you feel you are going off-track with your thoughts, emotions or actions during the session is good to do too.

It can be really simple such as “Only energies that will benefit this person will flow during this session” or “I intend that whatever is needed to heal X will come through me during this session.”

If you can generate good feelings within you as you state your intentions too, then they become more powerful. Again coming back to those feelings within a session is useful.

Another technique I have found useful is to imagine the state of the person’s aura you’d like to be by the end of the session, before you start work. Revisiting that image and how you feel seeing that image during the session is useful.

You can also write it down on a piece of paper, or have a picture of a “perfect” aura so that you can look at it from time to time.

You don’t need the perfect environment

Don’t get me wrong, setting up an area or room for healing purposes can have a huge impact on your confidence and making it more comfortable and receptive for who you work on. So yes, please do follow all the different bits of advice I have given over the years on this blog and elsewhere about EMFs, pictures, colours of light to use and so on.

However don’t feel like you have to have the perfect setup before you start. Just do the best with what you currently have around you.

I would also say that sometimes you may end up performing healing in testing circumstances and places anyway.

As an example, I have performed healing on my wife and other people when at an airport with all the millions of EMFs, overlapping auras of people, people coughing, lots of noises of announcements, babies crying, luggage sounds etc.

I wouldn’t recommend it in an airport and would only do it if they really wanted to be helped regardless, BUT did it help ease their symptoms? Yes!

You don’t need to be perfect either!

In fact I have never met another healer who’s aura is completely clear. If you chat to healers they will generally say that they still have lots of different things to work on or that there are many things they wish to improve on, and of course some are very happy being who they are rather than worrying about what is not “prefect” within them.

A lot of people will generally say that you are better able to heal something in another if you have already healed it within yourself. I would say that this is not necessarily true as you may not be noticing, directing energy or intending to heal what is needed during a session. In fact, often if you are aware of a particular problem in your own aura, then you may be more aware of that same problem in another and can better direct healing towards that purpose.

I have often felt that tuning and relaxing into an uncomfortable/problematic area of my own aura such that energy flows through it, whilst working on the same problem in another, can benefit both of us!

Again intention is key here. So long as your positive intention and thus the vibrational energies you give off are dominant over those lower vibrations that may come up in your thoughts, emotions etc then the net gain will be positive.

It is also very important to note that a lot of those negative thoughts/emotions and other energies that come up within you and your client during a session, is simply because you are raising the vibration of you and them. Those lower vibrational thoughts/emotions/energies are simply being expressed as they leave both of your auras.

Knowing this can put you at ease during a healing as you can simply say to yourself “ah, this is just stuff that is being cleared as I perform this healing.”

Worries about harming another

This is a common concern.

People often worry about whether they might give a client their lower vibrational issues or that they might take issues from their client.

Remember that you get out what you put in. If you hold this belief within you then you may experience such things happening, especially if you keep allowing those thoughts and corresponding emotions to grow before or during a healing session.

So learning to feed those thoughts and emotions that you truly wish for the session, versus those that you don’t is important. Clear intention setting is a powerful way to do this.

If you sense that you or your client has taken on something from the other, don’t worry!

Remind yourself that you get out what you put in, so watch those worries come across your mind, and let them pass, as you would during a formal meditation and come back to your intention. Step back whilst you affirm this and come back to the healing once again to remove that lower vibrational energy/thing, just like you would if it hadn’t jumped from one person to the other.

Similarly don’t worry about energies that you try to take out that partially or fully return to the person’s aura. They are in no worse state than before you tried to take it out, so relax and have another go.

Energies have a particular frequency that can only exist in a particular space & time so they will always return to the same place in their aura. I say this because many people have worried that they have set something loose or that an energy may cause more harm if it falls somewhere else in the aura.

If an energy does move then it may be a parasite but as I keep saying in my articles, they are only as much of a problem as you believe and you can simply remove it from wherever it goes.

The only time NOT to do healing on another

With the above in mind, if you feel that you really are giving more of your energy to the negative thoughts, worries, emotions etc than the positive, then yes, please take yourself away from healing. Preferably by not starting healing in the first place.

Once the overwhelm has gone, whether it be several minutes, hours or days later, then give healing a try again. Taking time to meditate, reflect on whether the thoughts/emotions etc were really valid can help a lot.

If you really are still worried, then talking to someone supportive such as myself can be of great benefit. You can even trying healing me if you wish – I KNOW I cannot be harmed by another, so I’m a great one to be practiced on!

Most people however when they say they are worrying about whether they can help someone through energy healing or do harm, are simply feeling the jitters and all that is needed is a clear intention to be set and to get on with it – hence the reason for starting this article.

Truly knowing whether you cannot heal or might do harm is very different to having a few worries pop up!
